How Can vomiting Along With Headache Be Treated?

My friend woke Sunday morning 2:00pm with vomitting and headache. She is 66. Still in bed. Still headache and can t keep anything down. Dizzy. Very active, healthy normally. We came back from Cabo, Mexico last Wednesday. I am fine, no issues and we ate about the same thing in Cabo. That s the only change. She just feels out of it. Any suggestions?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms of your friend seem to be related to a migraine.

I recommend taking anti-inflammatory medication for a headache such as Ibuprofen.

He can also take Reglan for nausea and vomiting.

If the symptoms continue a visit to a neurologist is recommended.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
